Portrait Train-Wrecks

Looking at home snaps and family portraits can be amongst the most tedious of tasks that a person will ever endure in their life. Think about excited parents displaying the latest family shot, or the co-worker who shows you their precious wallet photos. It’s torturous. Jim Bumgardner, whose computer-generated work we shall revisit in later posts, put together this color picker/Flickr mashup. Choose a color from the picker to get up to twelve photos which feature it as their main color. It’s mesmerising and really appeals to the designer in me.
