Some call them ‘Freegans’, others call them ‘Free-conomists’. Whether they are eco-heroes or eco-zeroes depends on your point of view. The Irish Times has a report and interview with one man who has laid out his new year’s resolution for 2009: To Live Free.

He plans to spend the entire year not spending a cent. He will live off the land and others’ refuse, get his power from the sun and use his bike to travel. So is he a free-thinker or a free-k? You decide.
