Have pity for the poor residents of Tuscarora, Nevada. The Wall Street Journal reports how every year they have to battle an invasion of 2″ long crickets. Most years it’s just an invasion. Some years it’s a plague. However, one resident discovered a secret weapon hidden in an old newspaper article, a Chinese Gong. Updated for our age, it’s become Heavy Metal.
